What I meant was that everything went right for VT, but they still lost by 10. Alabama won almost every aspect of the game, but was still behind after 3 quarters because they kept letting VT stay in it. Without some boneheaded penalties, a God-awful unnecessary roughness call, and a kick return for VT, Alabama would have won by more than 10.

I hate that our pick wasn't our defense playing well. It was bad offense. I hate that. I hate a kick return for a td is a mistake on bamas part not vt doing something. And McClain not getting tossed from the game is unbelievable. If it was a VT player doing that and not getting tossed they would say we were luck to keep him. The game was close. No blow out and if Beamer and company wasn't scared of TT getting hurt he runs more and we can probably win that game.
